A Brief Background

RSM – Resource Service Management was officially established in May 2004 and is a well-established and very dynamic Security Company.  We have since grown from strength to strength with a long list of satisfied clients.  The Company has been built around a customer base that includes a number of major property owners and managers, including Honda SA, Mercedes, Porsche, UD Trucks, Hertz Car Rental and Whirlpool, including many other sites.

There are so many security companies currently available and therefore the highly motivated founding staff members of RSM – Resource Service Management have set themselves the goal of becoming the most competitive security company on the market.  We will seize all opportunities to succeed and to apply sound principles and new methods and technology in order to protect you as our client.

Due to the need in the market for real empowerment, RSM – Resource Service Management was registered and is headed by the dynamic JD van Eeden who not only brings knowledge but extensive diversified skills to the table.  We believe that real empowerment is a bottom up approach.

Value Added Service

The RSM Management Team has a unique attitude to the service that they individually provide to our clients.  Our top Management Team is at your disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  This ensures that problems are resolved as soon as possible.  The Ops Manager will also do specific on-site training and evaluation.  This does not only increase the security officers’ productivity but also allows us to identify all possible shortcomings.  Continuous training / supervision will be provided thus ensuring a constant high standard of service and professionalism at all times.  Night management patrols to minimise incidents and to ensure that guards are always alert and up to date with their tasks.

Our Personnel

Before we employ staff we ensure that the following standards are met:

  • All applicants is registered with PSIRA and trained in an accredited PSIRA training institution.
  • Pre-employment screening and aptitude testing
  • A basic literacy and numeracy test – applicants have to obtain an 80% pass rate to be considered for employment.
  • All staff are South African Citizens.
